Family-Owned Heritage
At The Sanctuary at Fiddlehead, we take pride in being a multigenerational, family-owned venue dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences in a stunning natural setting.
Our story is rooted in a vision to transform this beautiful property into a serene retreat, honoring its rich history while inviting guests to celebrate life's most cherished moments. Join us as we share our passion for community, nature, and family values.
The land itself has always done a lot of the talking. Forty-nine acres of Blue Ridge Mountain woodland, a stream-fed pond stocked with rainbow trout, a private trail that follows a cascading creek past a natural waterfall — it's the kind of property that made preserving it, rather than reshaping it, feel like the obvious choice. Even The Farmhouse, originally built in 1947 and lovingly restored in the years since, kept its hand-hewn beams and original character intact through every renovation.
What began as a family's own retreat has grown into a place we share — with couples exchanging vows at Posy's Pond or tucked into The Labyrinth, with families gathering for a weekend at The Farmhouse, and with anyone who simply needs a quiet place to slow down for a while. Different reasons, same land, same values: take care of the property, take care of the people on it, and let the mountains do the rest.
We'd love to walk you through the property and share more of our story in person.
